BOUNDARIES ARE IMPORTANT

Boundaries are set rules and limits one put in place to creat a safe way to interact with others. Boundaries can be physiological, emotional, and physical.

And creating boundaries can lead to better emotional and mental health along with developing better sense of self-  identify what your request is of your partner, communicate with ya partner bout' your requested boundaries and expectation round' the ask. Tell your partner what the request is however make sure not to over explain yourself.

Make sure to tell your partner why your boundary is important to you along with why you them to be respected. The difficult part is when the boundary is crossed, make sure to follow thru and hold your partner accountable when the boundary and the agreement is not respected....
